Haha nah, I wish there was a dirty meaning to mine but Nasher is just my nick I used to get called from my teammates when I played rugby. Cane is just something I threw on the end of it :P

Even as a single guy its annoying reading these posts. It feels like this ranting gives the rest of us a bad name of being a bunch of whiners. I've only been here a few months and haven't met anyone in person but right from the get-go I could see that being part of a majority group I was gonna have to market myself well (whether or not I've done it well is a different story), persist a bit and just get on the chat room and try to mix as much as possible. I don't think its a scam or anything sheesh! If girls and couples are getting a billion msgs a day then its understanable that they don't reply, who the hell would want to reply to all of them just move along. Think of it like being a telemarkter cold calling
Someone should get that post about the statistics of how many couples, single females, single males are on this site and make it a permenant sticky

Hi all,
I hope this is the right part of the forum for this. I'm a mid 20's single male and for a while now I've been curious about the Swinging scene. I would really love to check out some of the clubs in melbourne but as I'm sure a lot of people are, I'm extremely nervous about the whole thing. I'm not sure whether to go to a night where single men can attend because I might be self aware around a bunch of other guys. In that case I should go with a girl to one for just couples? The bad thing there is I'd probably be to shy and intimidated by the nice girls haha.
Long story short I don't have a lot of confidence in myself. Any tips on good venues to start or anything would be greatly appreciated. I would really really love to try swinging but at the same times I'm really scared and nervous about it all.
