i think a lot of couples are not staying for very long because of the behaviour of a minority on this only takes 1 jerk to put ppl off.

every year we have had problems like this when paying for the usually takes about a week to straighten did not bother renewing it last year as it was such a hassle the last cpl of times. have not tried paypal so maybe that would work better
