Hi, Looking to purchase a cam for my PC and after looking around they vary in price from quite cheap ($20) to relatively expensive ($100+). Can anybody give some advice on what works well and what doesn't? Anything I really *should* get feature wise? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Happygirl
Thanks guys! Would you mind letting me know the model number etc? I might try to get one. I looked at a few today but the specs were all over the place and trying to actually compare apples to apples is difficult. Some are saying HD, others are only HD if you use their software (ie - the camera is not full HD). The PC I will be initially running it on is only a highish spec P4 so that might limit performance. I am hoping to swap it around to at least a mid range Core2 in the not too distant future. Thanks again, Happygirl
logitech C510 is the one I have, about $50 and is plug and play and easy to use. Colours are great and sharp

I actually snuck in and had a peek at Haidee whilst she was online and on cam yesterday.....Not sure the cam can be given all the credit wink
I will keep an eye out for one of these cams. The specs say it is only HD capable on a Core2 or better PC - I will be initially running it on a P4 so might not produce the better quality until I upgrade the PC.
Thanks again,

Yup, we use the same camera. You can get it for about $100 these days.
I recently bought one from Woolworths 6bux had few ppl say good cammin so there ya go saw it today now 5 bux
HD will rely on both your internet connection having enough upload speed and on the software you are using to chat. I doubt the web-chat used here is capable, HD is usually associated with programs like , messenger and others.
