Just wondering how the newbies got into the scene? Were very nervous and new to the scene but we would like to hear your thoughts on a party or a private meet up,which is the better option?
The thing with parties it seems you need to dress down at a certain time which kinda makes us inconfortable.
What parties in Melb would be good to meet younger couples?

Newbies! Parties or Private
Hi andyg,
I know how you guys feel, I really do. I would say you are better off attending parties to begin with just to get your confidence in meeting other people who are in a similar situation to yourselves. If you look in the swinger parties, you will find private parties in Melbourne that you can attend. Don't be too concerned about dressing down. I felt the same way myself as you will see from my profile photo's that I am overweight and I am very self concious. I couldn't believe how comfortable I felt being naked in front of other people who were fuuly clothed and watching me have sex. Give it a go and let me know how you went. We started and still attend the Saints & Sinners Balls as there is no pressure to play and it is more social atmosphere than what you find at a private party, were it can be expected that you are there to play. There are a lot of people at the nights and their ages and experience do vary but we have always felt comfortable there. We have made some friends at these nights.
