I agree a lack of reply may mean the other party isn't interested, but isn't it just common courtesy to say "no thanks"? I sent a pm too, notice in my mailbox that it was read by the recipient, but received no reply or acknowledgment. It would only take 30 sconds to send a reply to say no thanks. Good manners cost nothing, but sadly you don't see them on the internet much.
