Hi guys. This reply is probably not very useful, but having been to WOW a few times we thought we might help give him some realistic expectations.
Getting a single girl to accompany him is against the spirit of couples events, though personally we've thought more kindly on gents who are "in company" with another couple. But without some more detail about the gentleman (and maybe some pics) you might struggle to find a woman to partner him. Alternatively, WOW used to (and may still?) allow a limited number of single guys, though at ridiculously high prices. If he's keen enough he could enquire about that.
Despite the "couples" tag, WOW does seem to have a lot of single guys hanging around up in the play rooms upstairs. For the most part, there are enough single guys that any individual guy may struggle to get any attention. So your friend shouldn't get his hopes too high about that. Watching and wanking is entirely possible, but with towels as the main dress code and so many private rooms available (which are often preferred by couples), even the voyeuristic element is reduced compared to a more traditional swingers party (which have a lingerie dress code and open play rooms). So the night might not be all that he hopes it would be.
If he is still keen to go, an alternative that doesn't require the extra woman is Shed 16. It's a similar setup, minus the pool.
