Too special to reply

Where are peoples manners. So over trying to make contact here. Polite messages, sexy messages, saucy messages........ no reply!!!!!! Starting to think this site is for people to do their house work to. Just log on and walk away. Years gone by the site was for active swingers, now days it seems people just sit there and watch the world go by, as if it was youtube. I know, if you don't like it ...... but FFS 70,000 members ?????? ( just going off to have a wank)

don't know how you go about doing things , but while i was a single bloke here , i never had any problem at all ,,, now however as a couple who plainly state on our profile that  we have NO interest in single men , however , when we wish a single bloke or two to join us, we will find who we want as we need ,,, why waste our time replying to messages that come from folk who obviously haven't read the profile ,before going off for a wank over the pics ? 

yes thats the problem here, to many dont read profiles and expect you to reply, well if you cant read our profile and still message even though you dont match then sorry but thats your prob

Obviously they do not want u tom, thats all i can think of, i mean im older than u and have respect but know its harder as u get older and i accept that not many are interested so i accept i still like to come on here and chat and hope, one other thing is you cany always get what you want.

Well considering, your a solo male, I would say, your picking the wrong profiles to send messages too, ie couples who state they are not looking for solo males, or, they are couples who are looking, but being killed in messages or, your just not what they are after. For solo ladies, they get hit hard, specially if fairly new. Considering i havent seen how or what you email some one. This is just a generalized thought.

I have seen a fair few solo males, get very busy with emails on here, BUT i would say, its pretty much cause they have been polite, and not just commented with hi lets fuck, Oh im not saying you have done that either. But it is a big complaint, by a few solo males.

I have a close friendship with a solo F on here, she gets a lot of messages and she often shares with me for a laugh. 

We were chatting about this the other night and have summarised that 

10% of messages would be of interest so it might mean further conversation.

10% are so dumb they warrant a dumb reply. Just because they are from idiots.

the remaining 80% are the run of the mill boring and probably a copy and paste. Why would you bother wasting your time replying to rubbish.

Maybe the site should provide a Reply Template button where you can hit a button and acknowledge the message with a customised reply like 

"Hi

You've had a response from your recent message.

Unfortunately on this occasion the recipient has politely declined. Thank you for your interest. "

Also as a solo M profile user myself I do read profiles and only message if there is a realistic chance that it's going to go further otherwise chances are you just viewed as another pest.

This is a auto reply to winks and messages. Has a cpl of different ones to choose from or can make your own up.

I would like to point out that there are many couples on SH that list they are looking for a single male. And yes they will not respond.

I think it a sign of the times that alot of people simple can not be bothered to reply and simply dont care regardless of how polite you may be. If the shoe was on the other foot??

Yeah - it's a bit like that for us as well ... despite our profile saying 'we play with couples' there are always single blokes who try their luck, and then there are others who say 'we can travel to meet you' ... and then they find they are 500+km away from us !!!!  - ah well, maybe some of them might be able to read one day

Maybe there should be a "thanks but no thanks" button.  Would make responding easier for some. 

Our profile says no single males as well and we get a few sent to us. On the flip side we get about 50% reply to our messages to other couples - bit annoying. 

Justlooking, apparently there are autoeplies. I don't know how to use them as I dont get many messages on here since the new makeover. 

I agree just looking a thanks no thanks button is a great idea! Straight to the point no messing around and no confusion for the one on the other end! But I have found that people really don't read your profile I have stated on my profile no friend requests unless we have chatted and I'm still getting them !?

As a member of the profile reading group, should be in line for a position on the board I still keep coming back though because I have got to know some really fun, like-minded people and actually met a few very friendly and very sexy people. As one of the older ones maybe I don't expect as many sexual encounters as others. So maybe my frustration level is higher than others. This is SH just accept it for what it is.

 Hey Tom:  As a bi/bi curious couple we receive masses of messages and PM's with few actually bothering to read our profile for our likes and dislikes.  Invariable we just delete them unless we recognise the names.   Many are also rude, pushy and foul-mouthed.  Not a good way to initiate any form of friendship or even contact.

It's been the most successful method for me on here and although not all lead to sexual encounters you can make some really loyal friends.

You need to realise that single females and couples are inundated with mail and rarely have the time to read through them and as pointed 

out earlier, make it different, NOT "hey would you like to meet up" or some boring stuff like that, you would be way better off telling a joke

id suggest going to the meet and greets too, that way people put a name to the face, sometimes living in the cyber world is a hindrance.... theres often meets, be they lunch meets or nighttime saturday meets, try them if you can.
