are people so far up them selves , they post there message, or advertise them self, they recieve a response, and cant even be bothered to reply , just a no thanks is all its takes, DAMM RUDE

Keep in mind some people may not be on the site all that often. Also, some receive A LOT of messages - especially from guys - and simply don't have time to respond to everything they receive.

you can check your sent items to see if they have read your message or not - so if they arent on site very foten u can see if theyve had a chance to read the message before assuming they dont give a shit

Check, Did the message you sent comply with what the others were looking for?
If you dont match what people are looking for, Why should they answer if you didnt read their profile.
But we do agree, we have sent 20 -30 messages with no reply, which makes it very easy to not even try now.
I wonder, if this site took a proactice approach and if they recieved complaints of unanswered mail when the profiles matched and the mail has been opened...three strikes and your out....Have a option ....no mail just looking , so we know not to send mail there.

Interesting option hotqld... Another option would be to configure reply templates, so when you've read the mail if you're not interested you can click a button to send a standard 'thanks for the message but unfortunately you do not match our criteria' reply... I understand people get a lot of mails, but if someone came up to you in a bar and said hi you wouldn't just ignore them, contact by mail shouldn't be any different - just common courtesy. I always spend time reading the profiles as well as the advert to ensure I match the requirements, it's just plain annoying... But heyho each to their own.. Maybe this post will even prompt some of the people who don't respond to start now smile

we don't reply to single guys messaging us as this is not what we are after. clearly states this in our profile and advert as well yet they still send messages to us. One day we may change this but just now we are after something different.

Agree completely with the first part of this post - I've been getting lots of contact from people nothing near what I am looking for - way too young, way too old, way too "height/weight disproportionate", uncut, non-caucasian and the list goes on and on. Even though I state that I won't waste time with these types, as much as possible I try to respond - but don't always have the time. Answering even 70% of these is more than I said I'd do.
Also a bit hard to say whether the profiles match specifically based on ticking some boxes - some guys do match with what I'm looking for - until full pics are revealed- and quite frankly if they are not what my lady would find attractive - face or full body - or even male appendage for that matter - (I know what my lady likes or doesn't) - then they're not a match at all.
What's the answer - move on to the next profile and don't take it too much to heart is my way off looking at it.... lol

And what does that comment achieve? Wasted space?
