Hi everyone, We are after some do's and don'ts regarding nude beaches and discreet play. We understand that liaisons at the nude beach maybe be frowned upon as it's illegal and gives reasons for the beach to be closed, but we are looking for some guidance on where to go, and what not to do etc so as not to offend anyone etc. We have just started going to Sunny side and would love to hear about what other people have done. Thanks smile
Hi, Whatever you do, don't try to engage in any fun at Sunnyside beach. The locals are doing all they can to have its "clothing optional" status removed. The police regularly patrol the carpark.
Thye title says it all you go there to be nude sunbake or swim nothing else , nudists have a hard time keeping the beaches clothing optional as it is for them to enjoy , people thinking that just because its a nude beach that its a sex beach aswell does nothing to help the cause Go get your kit off catch some rays and have a swim and enjoy the view Cheers Melbcpl01
I haven't been to a nude beach however what melbcpl01 said has got me intrigued by the prospect of getting a decent tan (and a swim sounds lovely)

401,
It's time for you to hit Swanbourne Beach!
Nude beaches are not for sex, plain & simple, the legal nude beaches we do have are in danger of being lost due to the thoughtless actions of some.... If you want to have sex then find somewhere else to do it! you are allowed to be nude on a nude beach, but you are not allowed to have sex in public. By all means go to a nude beach & enjoy being nude in the sun, but don' use it as a sex venue or harrass other beach goers who are there to enjoy nude recreation. The admins of this site should remove all postings & on the Australia wide dogging list mentioning nude beaches as dogging locations!!! Please ladies & gentlemen, be discrete!!

We remove the legal nude beaches from the dogging list, if we have missed any please let me know so I can fix it.
We don't remove the forum posts though, there are members and also us who leave helpful reminders about dogging being very frowned on when it comes to legal nude beaches.
The thing is though... public sex isnt allowed anywhere.. if you are looking to dog on a legal nude beach during the day or early evening or mornings when theres more likelihood of it being used by a family.. you are an idiot and will no doubt be reported... as you would if you did it at a park or near a school etc..
people really need to use common sense and clean up after yourselves as well.

Well said, I think the message needs to be broadcast more often to cleanup the swinging scene, otherwise you will be finding more & more public awareness of dogging going on then a public backlash will result & you will find you will be getting arrested!
To me swinging is something between consenting adults in a private setting so as not to offend others around you, sure by all means if you happen to meet some nice people on the beach etc & the converstion turns to swinging then take the matter further away from public view!
The practice of setting your self on public display can only be detrimental for the dogging community & result in more patrols by police & rangers etc
So please if it is in public view put it away & play with it at home!
Swinging at Nude Beaches is a no no! We have enough trouble maintaining our rights to bathe as nature intended, without fear of sexual predators. Also people need to show respect to their fellow sunbathers. Thats all from me Derek (dlight)

Just an observation
If public sex is illegal and not allowed anywhere, then why does the site promote it?? I am not against it myself but just curious that some "chatrooms" are closed because topics may be deemed unlawful but the site openly promoted Dogging????
No offence to fargo.. BUT they are talking about nude beaches.. Not the site, I would suggest, sending your question by a support ticket to admin, ON that matter.....
What seems strange to us is the site removes the locations from the digging listing ,maybe the mods also need to edit any forum posting that include nude beaches by removing the locations that listed aswell
I have had sex with a girl on a nude beach and it's no one else's business. No one seemed bothered by it. Lets face it; you would think nudists aren't prudes; so who is going to report it?

And no offence to Rose..
Brad_jodi asked a legitimate question, and in doing so, stated that "We understand that liaisons at the nude beach maybe be frowned upon as it's illegal".
Infinite_Sky in a response in this same thread said "The thing is though... public sex isnt allowed anywhere.."
My post was... Just an observation, and nothing more. I have no problem with Dogging or public sex. I just observed that we promote dogging, public sex, when it is illegal, and I would have clearly thought that I would have the right to my say on the thread.
But i thank you for your suggestion Rose and I will submit a ticket

The legality of public sex varies between states, its also ambiguous in the UK where the owners of this site are from. This site has to adhere to Australian and UK law.
I said it wasn't allowed anywhere.. but I never said it was outright illegal. This site prohibits anything which is outright illegal to do in all states and territories of Australia and the UK.
Here is what I found regarding the laws on public sex which should be easily understood by everyone.
'Indecent acts in a public place' are an offence under the Criminal Code. If you have sex in public, you may be charged with committing an indecent act. 'Indecent' means potentially indecent – an actual person does not need to have been offended by your actions. But to be indecent, the behaviour also has to be easily seen – if it 'cannot be seen without the observer having to take abnormal or unusual action to observe it', it may not be indecent.
Don't you hate those creeps who park their boats off Lady Jane beach at Watsons Bay and perv on the nudists with binocolors.

The legal issue of having sex on public beach is of more concern to me than whether or not nudists are prudes.
