i would prefer to not drawn into this debate..i idid do a search on sunnyside, in particular the mornington peninsula leader and yes there are complaints that occur but it seems to be confined mainly to the carpark and toilet areas and not so much at the beach itself..in fact rather than closing it down it seems there is a push to improve the facilities there (12 Jan 2010 - mornington peninsula leader)..i have been to many nudist beaches throughout Australia and many around the world and there will always be some undesirable attention where there are naked people congregating together..it doesnt matter if it is here or there, it will happen..and i too have been the victim of this and it isnt nice but it isnt just restricted to sunnyside..just look up the history books, go to an art gallery and you will see see what i mean..its been happening since the beginning of time..constantly complaining and whinging about it will not fix the problem..it will be going for sometime yet..if my tolerance to this kind of behaviour was so low that i couldnt hack it i simply wouldnt go..sadly it is the risk we all have to consider when we go to sunnyside or any nudist beach but please stop complaining about it..just look away or dont go..thats what i do..it is as easy as that..but i dont complain about it all the time..end of story

Yes, this site supports and promotes dogging. Doggers typically don't mind and often encourage onlookers to masturbate whilst watching the couple doing their thing. There is some implied consent going on and as long as it is kept out of the view of those who may be offended then few people care. This is why dogging is typically done at night and/or in discrete locations.
No, this site does not support guys sitting in a public park and openly jerking off while leering at every woman that walks past. Bypassers have not given any consent for you to be masturbating in their presence and it is likely to be offensive to them.
If you're openly wanking at a nude beach in broad daylight, which of the above two scenarios is the most similar? Just because the people around you are nude does NOT mean they have given consent for you to jerk off in front of them. It is likely that they will be offended if you do. There's nothing wrong with you having a bit of a perve (just as you can at a clothed beach, except a nude beach has more to see), but there is something wrong with being a pervert.

I am not sure if anyone is getting the point here. Sunnyside is a LEGAL nudist beach. Dogging is NOT legal.
That being said, it means that men, women and children can all attend Sunnyside and that it should be safe for them all and no one should feel threatened in anyway. Whether or not you believe children should be there or not is not really up for debate because that fact is that they legally are. What also is not up for debate, is the fact that Dogging is Illegal, as is wanking in public. This beach was opened for nudists to attend and it was put in a secluded location so as not to offend others. I know it's a generalization but once the "single" guys found out about it, they were the ones that became offensive, by exposing themselves and thinking that is was OK to masturbate in public, thus offending most nudists. I am still finding it difficult to understand why guys think that it is OK to pull themselves on a nudist beach but they do not do the same at Elwood or Lorne or any other "normal" beach for that matter. I may not be into Dogging at all but there are many places that it happens that you all can frequent, but it seems that it is all just so easy to go along to a legalised nudist beach to perve and Illegally masturbate.
I know that this site premotes dogging but that does not takeaway the fact that it is still Illegal, so therefore in my mind, IF you want to Dogg or watch then I would suggest that you go off to some other discrete spot and participate, and leave Sunnyside to the people that it was opened for.. the Nudists, (of which I am not). One last point if I may. If there are nudists on the beach and they are "getting it on" in public, then they are no better than any single guy wanking in public. That particular beach and any other nudist beach was opened for families to enjoy, not for sex acts to happen.

i haven't read all 3 pages of this thread, but the posts on this last page seem to contain alot of negativity towards a couple who post alot of sense on these boards. seriously, how can anyone try and justify posting exact times and locations of planned fun? you can rest assured that the authorities do monitor sites such as this one, and the constant blatant advertising of locations just ruins the fun for all. one of the oft-talked about locations in melb is a prime example, it has come under greater scrutiny from the boys in blue and there have been arrests there in recent times

Sunnyside carpark has been removed from the dogging locations listed on site. That was an oversight that it was still up there as the site doesnt condone dogging at a legal nude beach. Nudism isnt sexual and issues like this are why people get these beaches closed down and then we are stuck with non legal nude beaches which tend to be full of the depraved activities people complain about.
As a couple, we love Sunnyside. We go there for the freedom of being able to be our natural selves. We do not like being harassed and fortunately that is a rare occurance for us. We love the feeling of swimming naked and if we feel amourous we will play together in the water (were you can't see what's going on), not on the beach. Guys jerking off on the beach just threaten our future there and we don't appreciate it. If we want to play with someone on the beach we will take them home rather than risk losing Sunnyside and I will guarantee you it wont be someone playing with themselves. Seriously, how attractive do you think it looks? Guys wanking on the beach just look like adolescent fools.
Sunnyside is a genuinr nudist beach and will only remain so if people behave themselves. I agree with MelbCple01.
