First, just wanted to say hello to all the doggers over in Aus, and hope you realise just how lucky you are (we have to do it in the snow over in the UK). However, the aim of the question, we visited Perth last year, parked up near the beach early evening and went for a walk. We noticed that 2 single guys were following us at a safe distance but that when we stopped they did. Now in the UK we would have been certain they were doggers, but as we didn't even know that Dogging went on in Australia, we were a bit unsure and therefore didn't get up to anything. Is this common? Also, dogging in the UK seems to be more in car fun rather than going walking and being caught playing (could be due to the cold weather) but wondered how things normally go in Aus? We also have a lot of problems with Police and what we affectionately call boy racers, who spend most of their time driving round car parks, causing problems for the doggers. Is this just a UK problem, or do you have similar issues? Sorry for all the questions and I'm only asking as we are hoping to pay a visit again next year and really would like to know the score before we do anything we shouldn't do.
What! they are going let you back in again!!! smile

It seems not
I think they're all shy! redface ;-) Or you scared 'em off! :giggle:
Hi guys --just an opinion ok but safety --- and location i feel would be the obstacles to over come --and those that advertise will get lots of loonie folk as well as genuine so i guess secretive doggin may work better and hope u select the right location ---beaches carparks shoppin malls elevators s -

Now that is one hell of a lot more adventerous than us over here in the UK wink
Safety is also a problem over here, and we also have the problem of teenagers who love to drive madly round the car parks causing as much trouble as they possibly can. Same you say, we always keep locations and details of meets very quite as you never know who is readying.
Thanks Blue
Its rubbish here, still in its infancy and just reading the dogging locations section of this site you'll see why! There would be plenty of places to stay and have fun but there are also hoons in cars piss arsing about in car parks as well.
Hey all, Dogging is actually well established and far more frequent than you have been led to believe in Perth. There are several groups dedicated to the car park, park and alley fun. Yes we have trouble with boy racers, or, as they are called here hoons. And its made worse by the fact they tend to drive V8's or sports cars, sadly all to often killing themselves, but more usually their mates, or some poor soul(s) who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dogging is becoming ever more popular, and the hottest spots are south of the river. If you get back here look us up, we'd be more than happy to show you around. We were doggers in the UK til migrating 6yrs ago, but now feel the cold here in winter, if we went back to snow now we'd need some heavy duty clothing like the eskimos use......lol shagbunnies
Thermal g-strings are in order Shagbunnies, if you ever visit the uk (or thongs as you will now know them as). The UK does have a problem with people who are just out to ruin the fun for those who want to be a bit naughty, and to a point, I can understand that the 'hoons' dont like their car parks being taken over. However, the majority of the places that I know of, are not really suitable for their racing round, so why spoil it for everyone else (not really a valid argument on my side, but I am a bit biased) wink The weather is alegidly getting a bit warmer now in the UK (however, it is spring and snow has been forecast for this week) but when the weather does eventually improve, more couples do seem to venture out, but the hoons follow. Just a shame we cant all just leave each other to our own little devices and get on and enjoy what we are doing. We dont want to listen to their music, so we ignore it, they dont want to watch us dogging, so ignore us lol Is that too simple of an answer
Hi NWC, Dunno about thermal thong wear, reckon we'd need heated longjohns now, and thats for summer. Left Essex 7yrs ago and have adjusted reasonably well to an average 34c. Today its been around 23-25c and its bloody cold. Reckon a night in the UK dogging now wouldn't be the best idea for us. As for a valid argument against hoons, we reckon you've got nil chance of having an accident, killing someone or damaging the environment, you don't create noise, mess and pollution, well not the type that causes global warming, if you believe in that. You don't play loud music, and don't get complaints from neighbours. What more validity do we need? We reckon you need to look further and harder for dogging sites, we never encountered much hoon behaviour when we were there, but the places we prefered were well off the beaten track. Just a little info, dogging started mainly in lay-bys, predominately in Surrey and Guildford in the late '80s early 90s, but spread very quickly. As far as we're aware its still a thriving activity, but as with everything in life, if you follow a fixed plan you tend to get a lot more dissappointment than enjoyment. Perhaps thats what you need to do, go back to lay-bys, the best are either well screened from the road, or have public loo's in them, always someone around to watch and play, we often met other couples as well as singles. Perhaps you should scout out your own sites, then when you're sure, advertise them on some websites, arrange a few planned meets and we reckon it'll take off. It's what we do here, have had some generally very good feedback, and at one stage we had upto 20 people at meetings. We created the WA nocturnal Bird Watchers Asscn, which was a hit. Sadly though that was the heady days, we're just coming off a 2 yr absence for various reasons, and are having a bit of trouble with time wasters and wannabes playing cyber games, which is sad as it ruins it for genuine people. Anyway, keep your eyes and ears open, theres much fun to be had out there, if you know where to look for it....lol shagbunnies
Hi NWC, Like your experience in Perth, I've had a couple of experiences on the East Coast of Australia, where i was unsure as to whether a couple were out for dogging or just 'parking' as we used to call it when I was a teenager. Its hard to know, and could get you into some serious trouble if you pick the wrong couple, who might just be out for a bit of fun between themselves and not expecting/wanting doggers to either watch or join in. I'd love to know when you are out here again, and if in Sydney and surrounds, as I'd love to try to tee something up. Peter xxxx 69position
Most 'dogging' in Australia are sites are beats for gay men. If you are gay there is plenty of action, but finding women into outdoor exhibitionism and public sex, whilst not unheard of is fairly uncommon. Maybe more likely in warmer weather, but even winter in Melbourne will keep people indoors. The Brits may be just a tad more adventurous when it comes to this activity.
Sorry this is a bit off topic but if you enjoy dogging vids they is a fantastic site about UK dogging with the legendary Don "Dogging" Roobles I will leave it at that as the mods might not like the site being placed here Thanks
Hi been in sunny Perth nearly 2 years now and barring a couple of arranged meets ( which were great) the dogging side of thing has been a complete dead loss. Admittedly there does seem to be plenty of man on man action in some of the areas ( not my thing) there is a definite lack of ladies and couples. Perhaps I'm going to the wrong places ( or the right places at the wrong time?) I don't know, but if anyone's got any ideas or would like a nice easy going guy to have some fun with then give me a shout ;-) Cheers and have fun Daz
