This doesn't just happen with nude pics.
If you google our profile name you will find legitimate profiles of ours on a handful of australian swingers sites. You will also find a whole bunch websites that have a profile with username, pics and stats lifted directly from one of our actual profiles (but with the location changed in most cases). These sites do not respond to demands for removal of the stolen profile and as they are invariably hosted offshore legal avenues are limited.
Identity theft is huge online, varying from fake FB profiles and image theft, through to complex fraud schemes involving large numbers of people and big$.
The Internet is still the Wild West and the fact is, if that site had been hosted in any country other than the U.S. they wouldn't have been able to do a thing about it.

I find one of the biggest possible threats that is often overlooked is EXIF data attached to photos; on this site there is so many photos taken with iphones that pinpoint exactly where the photo was taken because of the EXIF data attached to the photo.
