watching the news and thinking how violent the world is. Bashing, theft, killings. But then thought is it that the world is more violent or is it the media/ social media that's bringing things to light more than years ago. What's peoples thoughts

more the media hype people are playing up to it and getting their 15 minutes of fame the wrong way
the media has alot to answer for. Hype and scare mongering to over sensitize people into a frenzy. Watching world news is a little more holistic, whilst opening your eyes that what we have here in Aus is pretty special afterall ( most of the time)
more population. more unemployment . more drugs. of course more violence.
and lets not start on religion.
or crude oil.
or gun laws in different states
Im not sure its more violent, It may only seems that way, cause we now have the internet, bringing out everything, so you hear about BAD news, media sells, . But hey if you find the paper work that proves differently
