Well done to the people who caught him out.
We were there that day . . . . . We know what happened . . . . . . . Maslin (not "Maslins"!) beach is not what it was in the 80's and 90's; i.e. a pleasant place to relax naked often with good friends; eat and drink and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in world. Sadly it is now overrun by mall-aligned males who appear to think that every woman or couple on the beach wants a threesome on the beach with them, they crowd you, stalk you, casually coincidently sit uncomfortably close to you and generally ruin your day. What is even more sad is the fact that every woman or couple that has spent time on the beach over the last few summers needs to accept the fact that have probably been filmed by a pervert just like the one detained on the beach that day, and that that footage of them has been published all over the internet . . . . . .

I find it intriguing that there appears to be so little interest in men filming beach goers at Maslin beach. We were there again on March 5th a few weeks ago and Ms spotted a male approx 45 years, 5’8”, olive complexion, shaved head or balding and medium build with a large stomach walking along the beach holding something/a gadget in his hand, as if he were pretending to be listening to a transistor radio. He was holding it in his left hand. We watched him. A few hundred meters up the beach he turned around and came back towards us now holding it in his right hand (later applied logic/ hypothesizes was that the lens that he wanted pointed to those on the sand and not in the water is on the right side of the gadget). I walked down to a spot where he would pass me close by, and a little after he passed I could see the gadget he was holding had a video screen and that he was clearly filming. I called out “do you have a camera on?” He turned and approached me with an attitude and showed me the gadget that now looked as though the screen was a transistor radio (is this a retail spy/cam gadget?). He asked if I was a police officer (Scared/guilty/paranoid). He said it was a radio and I decided to back off as I felt he was unpredictable and I no longer felt safe. I said “we have people down here filming at times and it’s really scary” . . . .  as he walked away he said patronizingly “keep up the good work!”. It was only later that I realized he had no earpiece in to hear music and I had heard no loud speaker. It was also interesting to note that after my approach he did not come back down the beach again. I guess we have to accept that again we have been posted onto any number of websites. Does this not bother anyone else?!

Wow, what a terrible experience for you. Yes, I am interested in being made aware of such things. Quite disgusting these people frequent and sully such wonderful venues. It is a problem in this information laden world that a little bit of information goes a long way and seemingly, these cretins decide to misunderstand the purpose of such a beach to suit their own selfish ends.
