The door fee covers the following: Use of their house, condoms, lube, nibbles, soft drinks. This is pretty standard. Many clubs require a door cost - not only does this cover all inclusions for the night it also helps cover any accidents, electricity used, laundering done, etc etc etc. Stating it is basically a brothel is pretty rude. Using that logic it would be like saying every other swingers/singles club is a brothel as well. Got nothing nice to say - don't say it.

i think these forums are open to discussion and everyone is entitled to a point of view. I think a question about a $90 door fee is valid. If 10 guys attend that is $900 door fee?!? thats a lot of electricity, laundry and nibbles. I am aware of the cost of condoms and lubes too... Covering costs is one thing. But those prices seem to make me think it is more of a commerical venture or atleast making some beer money! I didn't call if a brothel for info....read my post. But if something walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.....

the door fee would also include the public liability insurance for the attendees. as they are charging admittance to a venue it become manditory and is a givin that they would be liable if something goes wrong. dont you love the times we live in. 5 million for public liability is a starting point. i spose they could make every one attending sign a waver but that in itself is a admission of liability

Exactly my thoughts when i read entry fee lol

I was expecting 20 bucks max for tools & materials, use of shower/shitter, anything more is well into profit territory/prostitution..
Be careful OP, not much goes past our government these days wink

Public indemnity insurance?!? Are u serious!? I don't have a problem with people covering costs or even making a dollar or two But $90 does seem a bit rich for a few nibbles a condom or two and some lube! I'd love to attend and at a reasonable cover charge would be fun!
