At last we had a close competition tonight. Was even thinking that it would come down to the marlyn question when the scores were locked away at 11 all, but the girls then got the last 3 to end up winning 14-11. Once again Ylee and MrsA led the way for the girls with 7 & 5 correct respectively. For the boys, ozdude got 3 and roksteady, M86545, & wyld got 2 each. This takes the years tally to 405 - 245. I will be holding trivia for the next 2 weeks, before having a 3 week break while our daughter visits us from Perth. See you all again next week.
A very close night tonight, with the result not being decided until the marlyn question. Ylee was quickest with this answer to claim the night for the girls again. At last it seems like the boys have woken up. For the third week straight its a 13-12 result. This week the girls took it out on the marlyn question. We were back on board to host the trivia tonight after 4 weeks off. Thanks to Ylee for hosting in our absence. While we were away the boys won the first week 13-12, then lost the next 3 6-19, 9-16 and 6-19.
Tonight the girls continued with their winning ways. once again winning 19 - 6. Ylee once again led the way with 8 correct answers, with MrsA & 2intou getting 4 each. dangerousdave was the only boy to answer more than 1 question with a whopping 2 correct responses.
This takes the years tally to 525 - 325 in the girls favour.

Another rout for the girls tonight, winning 20 - 5. We had some new stars to assist our usual shining lights. Ylee led the way again with a mere 8 correct answers, with MrsA and Mrs_smith getting 4 each. Northernlights(Renee) answered 3 on her first appearance on the leader board. For the boys, ushowmeyours was the only multiple question answerer with 2. This takes the years total to 545 - 330.

Tonights quizz started as a close affair to get to a score of 4 all, but then the girls got into gear and took it out to 9-4. The boys then proved to be competitive again before going down 9-16. Its good to see new faces in the room every week enjoying the fun and interaction. Once again the girls were led by MrsA and ylee with 6 & 5 answers each and were assisted by Estherelizabeth with 4. Another win for the boys tonight. We are getting a lot more guys playing now and this seems to be evening things up. 2intou, bbinder & magicfingers got 3 right each and reggie561 answered2. We would like to thank everybody that has been involved with the entertaining and at times hilarious trivia nights that we have held most weeks this year. With a special thanks to Ylee for covering our arse on the nights that we were unavailable (sometimes at very short notice).
It was a year dominated by the girls, with them winning overall by a massive margin, 632-418. Well done GIRLS.
It was great to see that everyone participated in the spirit in which it was intended. A good fun night that is not to be taken seriously.
We now have a 3 week break over christmas, before returning on the 7/1/2012. This will give me a chance to find some new questions after asking nearly 1500 since starting mid last year.

Well. Well. Well. 2 in a row for the boys to start the year. Another close one tonight with it being neck and neck for most of it. The girls then opened up a 2 point lead at 9-11 but the boys fought back to win on the marlyn question. For the boys aussieflint led with 4 followed by tkm666 (3) and Tassie1975 (2). Once again Ylee led the girls charge with 7 with the usual backup from MrsA with 3. With another 13-12 win the boys now lead the year 26-24. Hope to see you all again next week.
Well normal service has been resumed with a resounding win to the girls tonight. If the only girls to play had been Ylee and MrsA, they would still have won with 13 correct answers between them (8 & 5 respectively). But they were assisted by Cheeky_adelaide63 & deuxplaiscpl with 3 each. fred26 was the only boy to answer more than 1 (2). The girls won 21-4, taking the years tally to 45-30. Thanks again everyone. Wow! tonight we had our best crowd ever with up to 35 players tonight. Thank you. Once again the speed of the girls (insert Ylee) proved the difference tonight, with them winning 14-11 in a close game. Ylee once again starred with what I believe could be a new record (9 right answers). Cheeky and TKM666 chipped in with 2 each. For the boys, fred26 led with 3 while stone25, billy & DKEL each got 2 correct. This takes the tally to 59-41, but with 2 wins each it's closer than it appears. Hope to see you all again next week.
Tonight was the last night of trivia that we will be holding for a few months, but Ylee has offered to take over in our absence. The night started as a close event with the score being 5 all, before the girls made their run. They ended up winning 18-7, Led once again by ylee and MrsA with 7 & 5 correct answers. bbw68 assisted with 2, while for the boys,shebagazz & tassie1975, were the only boys with more than 1 correct. (2 each). The years tally now sits at 92-58, after last weeks 16-9 win for the girls.
